I was always asked by family and friends to find good deals on holidays, I figured that there was something in a ‘holiday butler’ site, the idea was that the user would give a rough idea of where they want to go, I’d give them three deals (and add affiliate links) based on the information provided.
The site was operational and did generate customers, I wasn’t very good at anything back then, and looking back the advertising was inefficient and the form used on the site was horrendous.
