In another SEO experiment/venture I created a teaching job board targeting specifically teaching roles in London. I figured that if I was able to generate some traction ranking wise, it would be possible to flip the site.
The system was built in Symfony, which proved to be a development nightmare. Ultimately, the cost of development changes and hosting charges, led me to taking it offline. Someone did come along with ‘TeachingJobsInLondon.co.uk’ and chucked a shit ton of backlinks at it and seems to be in a great position now, so, it must have been a pretty good idea.
